Mel obtained her Elementariate degree from H.S. Truman Elementary School.
Her early education involved learning how to pronounce “milk” (as opposed to “meelk”.)
Her extracurricular activities included the flutophone “marching band”, a brief stint as a cheerleader (”Go Trojans!”), and being a pretty darn good left-fielder (when the balls did go her way) for the Interscholastic Girls’ Softball Team.
She continued her graduate studies at Piti Middle School, much of which is a blur to her.
Mel completed her post-graduate coursework at Oceanview High School, where she narrowly escaped social persecution most often suffered by geeks by praying unceasingly and hanging out with the “cool kids.”
Mel now lives in Northern California with her best friend (Best Gal Pal aka BGP), Mun, BGP’s father (who is recovering from a stroke) and her “nephews” Dog and Cat.
She enjoys drinking (water), surfing (the Internet), and eating (noodles). She likes to knit (just) scarves since her knitting talents are pretty limited (knit, purl, knit purl… they make it sound so easy).
She adores receiving email and has been known to actually respond occasionally. She loves living life anticipating what God’s plans and purposes are for her.
She is presently accepting generous donations that will go toward the purchase of a Nikon D40* or a trip to NYC for her second 29th birthday.
(update: Mel received a Nikon D40 for her second 29th birthday from her extraordinary, wonderfully generous group of friends and she is completely and utterly grateful).
